Services for Carie Marie Fortenberry of Monticello are 1 p.m.,Monday, Dec. 22, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCalvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. untilservice time, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fortenberry, 91, died Dec. 19, 2003, at Lawrence CountyNursing Home. She was born on Dec. 4, 1912, to Ella-V Berry andRobert Calvin Wilson.

She was owner and manager of Carie’s Dress Shop in Silver Creekfor 22 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, NedFortenberry; her sisters, May Little and Ella-V Mitchell; herbrothers, JR Wilson, Ray Hutchins, and Frank Hutchins.

Survivors are her daughter, Myrna Loy Jordan of Hammond, La.;her sons, Raymond V. Fortenberry and Calvin Fortenberry, both ofSilver Creek, Rogell W. Fortenberry of Shreveport, La., and NedFortenberry Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; 27great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
