Services for Wilmer R. Crosby of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Sunday, Dec. 21, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCold Springs Church of Christ. The Rev. Bruce Crosby will be theminister in charge.
Mr. Crosby, 67, died Dec. 19, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 23, 1936, to MildredAldridge Crosby and Burton Crosby.
He was a retired employee of Lincoln County. He served in themilitary and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a memberof the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and a son, James RodneyCrosby.
Survivors are his wife, Shirley Wallace Crosby; his sons,Kenneth Crosby of Prentiss, Perry Crosby and Scott Crosby, both ofBogue Chitto; his brothers, David Crosby of Columbia, S.C., MikeCrosby of Bogue Chitto, Carroll Crosby of Natchez and James EdwinCrosby of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren, Brittany Crosby andGeoffrey Crosby, both of Vidalia, La.,
