Services for Dorothy Estes Selman of Monticello are 2 p.m.,Monday, Jan. 5, at Monticello Baptist Church with burial inMonticello Municipal Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.

Mrs. Selman, 77, died Jan. 3, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn on Oct. 21, 1926, to George Estes and Dora Bell Estes.

She was a retired school teacher at Monticello High School, andwas a graduate of MSCW. She was a member of Monticello BaptistChurch and Monticello Garden Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, EldonAshley Selman; her brothers, John Estes and George Estes; and agrandson, Justin Smith.

Survivors are her daughter, Sara Elizabeth “Sally” Moss ofSeminary; her sons, James A. “Jimmy” Selman and Robert E. “Bobby”Selman, both of Monticello; her granddaughters, Jane Ball Reid,Rachel Lea, Kiley Selman, Allison Selman, Kristin Selman andMeredith Selman, all of Monticello; her grandsons, Ashley Selman,Dylan Lea and Robert Selman Jr., all of Monticello, Bryan Moss ofSeminary; her great-granddaughter, Harley Jane Buchanan ofMonticello; and her great-grandson, River Reid of Monticello.
