Services for Percy Nelson of Brookhaven are 3 p.m., Wednesday,Jan. 7, at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church with burial inRose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 7 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Nelson, 63, died Jan. 1, 2004, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.He was born in Lincoln County on May 9, 1940, to Sim Nelson andLovie B. Nelson.

He was retired. He was a member of Bethel African MethodistEpiscopal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, HattieNelson; a sister, Margret Nelson; and a brother, Sonny Nelson.

Survivors are his sisters, Eva Mae Terrell and Olivia Stovall,both of Brookhaven; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl LeeNelson and Wanda, and Willie Nelson and Louella, all of Brookhaven;his stepdaughters, Georgia Bell Gray and Minnie Coleman, both ofBrookhaven; his stepson, James Cotton of Brookhaven; and manynieces, nephews and other relatives.
