The Brookhaven Panthers whipped Wingfield’s Falcons 9-1 Tuesdayin a Region 6-4A soccer match on chilly King Field.
Forwards Giles Langston and Guy Orr directed the Panthers (7-3)with 2 goals apiece. Also scoring for Coach Kevin Bower’s team wereJonathan Davey, Tyler Alexander, Patrick Ayers, Jeffrey Kintner andR.J. Jenkins.
Brookhaven resumes play Friday at Terry. The varsity girlsregion match starts at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity boys at7.
