Services for Frederick Wayne McCoy of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Jan. 17, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church withburial in Carver Heights Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. McCoy, 45, died Jan. 12, 2004, at Veterans AdministrationMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 19,1958, to Willie McCoy and Geneva McCoy.

He was disabled, and was an Army veteran. He attended BrookhavenHigh School. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his father; his grandparents, Willieand Mary Hunter, Dovie Baker and Ike McCoy; and his niece, TraceyGalloway.

Survivors are his mother, Geneva McCoy of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Jasmine McCoy of Brookhaven; his son, Trez D’Angelo McCoyof Hazlehurst; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and MelvinGooden, and Gloria and Alva Harness, all of McComb; his brothersand sisters-in-law, Mark McCoy and Johnnie McCoy, both ofBrookhaven, Paul and Cecilia McCoy of Bronx, N.Y., and Willie McCoyJr. and Jeanie of Boston, Mass.; and his uncle, Will Hunter Jr. ofTrentonfalls, N.J.
