Graveside services for Bobby Malone Voorhies of Monticello are 2p.m., Thursday, Jan. 29, in Bible Baptist Church Cemetery in SilverCreek. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Voorhies, 64, died Jan. 25, 2004, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born in Lindon, Tenn., on Feb. 10, 1939, to BillVoorhies and Winnie Irene Anderson.

He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting,outdoor activities and sporting events.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his sisters, WaldfanVoorhies and Virginia Voorhies.

Survivors are his wife, Justin Raymer Voorhies; his sons, TimVoorhies of Monticello, and Robert Baker of Jackson; his brothers,George Voorhies and Bill Voorhies, both of Tennessee; and fourgrandchildren.
