Services for Michael Ellis James of Menifee, Calif., are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Stringer Family Funeral Services Chapel withburial in Zion Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. James, 45, died Jan. 29, 2004, at Rancho Springs MedicalCenter in Murrieta, Calif.

He was a computer technician at Computer Science Corporation inSan Diego, Calif. He attended school in Wesson, Germany and Ft.Polk, La., before graduating from Judson High School in SanAntonio, Texas. He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College, wherehe majored in music. He attended the University of SouthernMississippi and was a member of First Baptist Church in New Hope,Ala., where he was an ordained deacon.

Preceding him in death was his father, Boyce James.

Survivors are his mother, Ann James of Wesson; his sister andbrother-in-law, Joni and Ricky Cone of New Hebron; his nephew,Ricky Cone Jr. of New Hebron; his special love, Tami Jo Borchers ofMenifee, Calif.; several aunts and uncles; and numerouscousins.
