Services for Estella Tillman Starks of Chicago, Ill., formerlyof Brookhaven, are 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at Ebenezer AfricanMethodist Episcopal Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m., at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Starks, 89, died Jan. 31, 2004, in Chicago, Ill. She wasborn in Lincoln County on April 15, 1914, to George Tillman andVictoria Tillman.

She was retired, and was a member of Ebenezer African MethodistEpiscopal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, George Tillman;four sisters, M.L. Markham, Mazie King, Mamie Newton and MyrtisGriffin; three brothers, Clarence Tillman, Edward Tillman and J.P.Tillman; and a granddaughter, Stacy Tillman.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and RobertBlack of Chicago, Ill.; her son, Jerry Bryant of Brookhaven; hersisters, Georgia Mae Smith and Pearl Gosby, both of Chicago; 15grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
