Services for Lyntine C. Lenoir of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,Saturday, Feb. 21, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Services will be conducted by theRev. Larry Jointer.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m., with family presentfrom 6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lenoir, 84, died Feb. 14, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Jefferson County on May7, 1919, to Cleveland Culver and Kathleen Thompson Culver.

She was a retired educator, and a member of St. Francis ofAssisi Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Alcorn StateUniversity. She was a member of the Natchez chapter of The Links,Inc., and a member of the Bertha L. Johnson Literary and GardenClub in Brookhaven, and the Colored Women’s Federated Club inBrookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LamarLenoir; her sister, Claudine Autman; and her brothers, Sterling andJohn Culver.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Andre L. and EmogeneLenoir of Brookhaven; her nephew, Kenneth Ray Culver of Jackson;two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of niecesand nephews.
