Services for Ivolene Coker of Brookhaven were 2 p.m., Sunday,Feb. 22, at Easthaven Baptist Church with burial in RiverwoodMemorial Park Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.

Mrs. Coker, 68, died Feb. 20, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on Jan. 11, 1936, to Ivo Lea and NoamieKleinpeter Lea.

She was owner of Children’s World for the past 28 years. She wasa member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Clyde Coker Jr. of Brookhaven; herdaughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Kenneth Goza, and Cathy andRobert Norton, all of Brookhaven; her son and daughter-in-law, theRev. Randall and Sherry Coker of Pensacola, Fla.; her sister andbrother-in-law, Delores and Hubert Greer of Wesson; her brothersand sisters-in-law, Teunnison and Johnnie Lea, T.H. and Margie Lea,Marcus and Kay Lea, Roland and Doris Lea, and Roscoe and MildredLea, all of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Gabe Goza and wifeCarey, Ben Goza, Joey Norton, Sonny Norton, and Molly Bergstresserand her husband Tim; and many close friends and Sunday Schoolmembers.

Pallbearers were Gabe Goza, Ben Goza, Sonny Norton, Joey Norton,Kenny Goza and Robert Norton. Honorary pallbearers were TimBergstresser and the deacons of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries or the EasthavenSanctuary Fund.

Moseler H. Burnett

Services for Moseler H. Burnett of Brookhaven are Wednesday,Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home chapel with burial in theRose Hill M.B. Church cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m. with family hour from7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Burnett, 96, died Feb. 17, 2004, in Monticello. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Oct. 7, 1907.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Mark M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brother RalphHaynes, sisters Susie, Ethel and Mary, one granddaughter and twogreat-grandsons.

Survivors are one daughter Maggie L. Washington, of Brookhaven;three granddaughters, two grandsons; seven great grandchildren,three great-great grandchildren, four grandsons-in-law, twogranddaughters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.

Martha Robinson

Services for Martha Robinson of Brookhaven are Wednesday, Feb.25, at 11 a.m. at the Jericho Church of Christ with burial in thechurch cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon to 7 p.m. with family hour from6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robinson, 73, died Feb. 19, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on April 24, 1930 to Tommy White and BerthaGearing White.

She was a former cook. She was a member of Jericho Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death her parents, husband Willie Robinson Sr.,a son Jessie Hugh White, brothers Willie D. White, Alex White andJohn Henry White, sisters Ollie Goodwin, Earnestine Adams and AliceMartha Mathis, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Survivors are a son Willie Ray Robinson, of Milwaukee, WI;daughters Shirley Sinclair, Gloria Branch and Toni Thompson, all ofBrookhaven; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Fred Smith

Services for Fred Smith of Monticello are Tuesday, Feb. 24, at11 a.m. at Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Oma, Miss., with burialin the Pleasant Valley cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home andTuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Smith, 77, died Feb. 18, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Lawrence County on Nov. 7, 1926 to Fess Smith and Velma DavisSmith.

He was a retired pulpwood hauler and a veteran of the U.S. Army.He was a member of the Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church, where heserved as chairman of the deacon board and on the board oftrustees. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Oma VolunteerFire Department.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son Raymond Wilks, adaughter Linda Winters, brothers R.J. Smith, Lee Smith, ChesterSmith and Robert Smith, and a sister Cora Bee.

Survivors are his wife, Beatrice Presley Smith of Monticello;sons Michael Presley and Lee Presley, both of Monticello, and EricPresley, of Hazlehurst; daughters Sharon Bennett, of Monticello,Shirley Jean and Carolyn, both of Jackson; a host of grandchildrenand three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
