Services for Joe Taylor of Wesson are 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 27,at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Taylor, 65, died Feb. 25, 2004, at Veterans AdministrationMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Noxubee County on May 25,1938, to Baker Taylor and Rosalie Thomas Taylor.

He worked as an asphalt plant superintendent with ADCAMP, Inc.of Flowood. He was a Navy veteran, with service in the Vietnam War.He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson and theAmerican Legion.

Preceding him in death was his father, Baker Taylor.

Survivors are his mother, Rosalie Thomas Taylor of Shuqualak;his wife, Frances Bright Taylor of Wesson; his sons, Tim Sutton andJoey Taylor, both of Wesson; his sister, Opal T. Gill of Shuqualak;his brothers, Otis Taylor of Columbus, Olin Taylor of DeKalb, andRalph Taylor of Shuqualak; and a host of nieces and nephews.
