Natchez Cathedral defeated West Lincoln’s Bears 8-2 Monday inDivision 7-1A baseball action at West Lincoln. Winning pitcherCorey Walker struck out 16 batters and walked 5.

The Green Wave got a home run from Garrett Jones and doublesfrom Jeremy Davis, Te Riley and Charlie Lamp. Michael Blain singledtwice.

“We played well on defense and did real good for six innings butwe gave up one big inning,” said West Lincoln coach Andrew Redd.”Cathedral is probably the best team in our division.”
