Services for Mary Opal Mann of Collins are 10 a.m., Wednesday,March 10, at Billy King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with burial inRock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5:30-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mann, 88, died March 7, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn on May 6, 1915, to Robert Remus Callaway and Stella CourtneyCallaway.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Rock Hill BaptistChurch. She was a Texas native.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, L.B. Mann;two daughters, May Joyce Mann and Reba Dean Mann; and four sons,Robert Mann, L.D. Mann, James Mann and Jerry Mann.

Survivors are her daughters, Bertie Ellis of Brookhaven, FayLoice Glass of Hockley, Texas, Helen Yawn, Hazel Jean McPhail andNaomi Frances McPhail, all of Carson, Mary “Myrtle” Williams ofGulfport, and Allie Hatton of Brooklyn; her sons, L.B. Mann Jr. ofHattiesburg, and Curtis Harlon Mann of McComb; her sister, NaomiDennis of Phoenix, Ariz.; her brother, H.H. Callaway of Cisco,Texas; 33 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and eightgreat-great-grandchildren.
