Services for Billy Ray Cater of Meadville are 2 p.m., Tuesday,March 16, at Bude Church of God with burial in the church cemetery.Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5-9 p.m., and Tuesday until 2 p.m., atthe church.

Mr. Cater, 56, died March 13, 2004, at Veteran’s Hospital inJackson. He was born in Franklin County on Jan. 31, 1948, to RobertL. Cater and Willie Mae Touchstone Cater.

He was retired from Armstrong Tire Company. He served in theMarines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Bude Church ofGod.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Willie Mae Touchstone Cater ofMeadville; his wife, Linda Zumbro Cater of Meadville; his daughterand son-in-law, Natasha and Brad Temple of Brookhaven; his son anddaughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Tammie Cater of Walker, La.; hissisters, Shirley Clanton of Meadville, and Debbie Williamson ofWatson, La.; his brothers, Jimmy Cater of Meadville, and ThomasCater of Ragley, La.; and three grandchildren.
