Services for Jane Conover Herring of Ocean Springs are 1 p.m.,Saturday, April 17, at the grave site in Live Oak Cemetery.

Mrs. Herring, 91, died April 6, 2004, in Ocean Springs.

She was a graduate of Newcomb College. She lived in OceanSprings for 20 years. She previously lived in Florence, Ala.; andNew Orleans, La.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Dr. John S. Herring;and her sisters-in-law, Sara Herring Hobbs, Julia Herring Perkinsand Harriet Herring Black.

Survivors are her sons, Dr. John Stephen Herring of Saluda,N.C., and Peter Conover Herring of Ocean Springs; her sister, BarrBelden of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren; threegreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
