Services for Katie B. Bailey of Wesson are 2 p.m., Saturday,April 17, at Old St. John Missionary Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Bailey, 85, died April 10, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Sept. 16, 1918, to Dora Coleman.

She was retired, and was a member of Old St. John MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, IsrealBailey; three sisters; five brothers; and a son-in-law, the Rev.F.L. Pendleton.

Survivors are her daughters, Mae Dora Dismuke of Wesson, andIrene Pendleton of Hazlehurst; her brother, Hirman Coleman ofBrookhaven; her stepdaughters, Arlean Wilson and Mary Ann Smith,both of Wesson; her stepson, Scott Jones of Wesson; 10grandchildren, including her special grandson, Shelby Bailey ofWesson; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
