Services for Judson William “Dub” Russell of Brookhaven were 11a.m., Saturday, April 17, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Monticello Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Russell, 75, died April 15, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Little Rock, Ark., on Aug. 20, 1928, to Albert Leon Russelland Pauline Hamilton Russell.

He was a retired brick mason and contractor. He was a member ofCarmel Baptist Church and was a longtime resident of Lawrence andLincoln Counties.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Russell of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Linda Russell Gage of Dallas, Texas, and Trisha Ringerof Mobile, Ala.; his son, Dr. Judson W. Russell Jr. of Davidson,N.C.; his sister, Ann Pace of Monticello; his brothers, Dr. HaroldL. Russell of Galveston, Texas, Lynn Russell of Monticello andGlynn Russell of Shreveport, La.; four grandchildren; and onegreat-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be John Gage, Bruce Ringer, Jerry Boyd, DaleMurphy Sykes, Jim Pace and Will Pace. Honorary pallbearer will beRobert Eaton.
