Ms. Nell V. Stanley, 92, of Brookhaven, died April 18, 2004, atHaven Hall Health Care Center. Her body was donated to Universityof Mississippi Medical Center for research.

She was born in Brookhaven on May 17, 1911, to George D. Stanleyand Bertie Ellzey Stanley.

She was a decorated WWII veteran.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, MaryStanley Weathersby, Virgie Stanley Roberts and Audrey Stanley; andher brother, Guy Stanley, who was killed in India during WWII.
