Services for Courtney Jade Copeland of Brookhaven are 4 p.m.,Wednesday, May 12, at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burialin New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 3-4 p.m., at the funeral home.

The infant Copeland died May 10, 2004, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center, where she was born the same day to Donald andCandace Copeland of Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death was her paternal grandfather, James D.Copeland.

Survivors are her parents; her maternal grandparents, Cam andJan Thurman, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Nix III, all of Brookhaven; herpaternal grandmother, Jean Copeland of Charlotte, N.C.; hergreat-grandmother, Ann Pepper of Brookhaven; and her stepsister,Shauna Copeland of Charlotte.
