Services for Spencer Yawn of Byram, formerly of Brookhaven, were10 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Mr. Yawn, 74, died May 24, 2004, at St. Dominic Hospital inJackson. He was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 12, 1930, to CleonSpencer Yawn and Marie Lewentheal Yawn.

He worked in the floor covering business and was a World War IINavy veteran. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He lived inByram for 25 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Clyde Yawn; andhis sister, Peggy Brooks.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy A. Yawn of Byram; his sons anddaughters-in-law, Steve and Cindy Yawn of Bogue Chitto, and Clarkand Paula Yawn of Kosciusko; and his grandchildren, Grant and DrewYawn.
