Services for Louise Brantley Pace of Monticello are 11:30 a.m.,Friday, June 4, at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg withburial in Highland Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Pace, 99, died June 2, 2004, in Monticello. She was born inConecuh County, Ala. on April 12, 1905, to Alice Maxwell Brantleyand Thomas Lafayette Brantley.

She was married to Barnard Pace for 60 years. She was a longtimeresident of Hattiesburg before moving to Monticello and Oxford tolive with her children. She enjoyed the company of her family andthe pleasure of music all her life. She played the piano for theentire family at her 99th birthday party.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou Pace andWoody Dabbs of Clarksdale and Oxford; her sons anddaughters-in-law, Dr. Brantley Barnard and Ann Pace of Monticello,and Maxwell and Brenda Pace of Biloxi; her grandchildren, MaritaPace Walton of Jackson, Dr. Thomas Brantley Pace of Greenville,S.C., Louann Pace Parschauer of Huron, Oh., James Russell Pace ofMonticello, Kathryn Pace Phillips of Yazoo City, William BarnardPace of Canton, Jan Pace Coker of Jackson, David Maxwell Pace andStephen Thomas Pace of Orange Beach, Ala., Dr. James Michael Paceof Hattiesburg, Shane Strong of Long Beach, Summer Hewes ofGulfport, Dr. Willis Norwood Dabbs of Clinton, Dr. Andrew PaceDabbs of Philadelphia, Clayton Adair Dabbs of Madison; her 31great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
