Services for Ruby L. Bowman of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,June 19, at Center Street Church of Christ in Brookhaven withburial in Siloam Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Friday from noon to 8 p.m. with the family presentfrom 7-8p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowman, 84, died June 12, 2004, at Haven Hall LivingCenter. She was born in Franklin County on July 14, 1919 to CharlieRay and Missouriz Ray.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Center Street Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GeorgeBowman; two sons, Edward L. Bowman and James S. Bowman; her threesisters; and her six brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Shirley McDaniel of Brookhaven,Patricia A. Bowman of La’Grange, Ill., and Linda B. Moore of PortGibson; three sons, George Jubiter of Chicago, Ill., Bennie Bowman,and Billy Bowman of Brookhaven; 21 grandchildren; 19great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
