Services for Annie Laura Branning Pevey of Monticello were 10a.m., Saturday, June 26, at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticellowith burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pevey, 73, died June 24, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Mississippi on May 13, 1931, to Clinton Branning and BeulahWalker.

She was a retired secretary with Deposit National Bank inMonticello. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was amember of Women On Mission. She was also a Sunday School teacher, achurch hostess, and a member of the choir.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WaddellPevey; and a sister, Pearline B. Griffith.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Ann Pevey andThurman Lambert of Monticello; her granddaughter, Kaylan AnnLambert; and her grandson, Charles Dell Lambert.
