Graveside services for James Arthur Thadison of Brookhaven are11 a.m., Thursday, July 29, at Siloam M.B. Church cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 6 p.m., with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Thadison, 72, died July 24, 2004, at Pine Crest Guest Homein Hazlehurst. He was born in Lincoln County on February 26, 1932,to Dedon Thadison Sr. and Lucille Kelly Thadison.

He was a construction worker with Oddee Smith ConstructionCompany.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Virgie MaeRay; two brothers, Dedon Thadison Jr. and R.D. Thadison; and agrandchild, Hakeem Rashad Thadison.

Survivors are his wife, Rosie Mae Kelly Thadison of Brookhaven;his daughters, Christine Price and her husband, Roosevelt, ofBrookhaven; Geraldine Singh and her husband, Avtar, of Brookhaven;Dorothy Ann Black and her husband, Charles, of Brookhaven; and MaryAnn Thadison of Brookhaven; his sons, J.D. Thadison and his wife,Rosetta, of Brookhaven; R.D. Thadison and his wife Margaret, ofBrookhaven; and James A. Thadison Jr. of Brookhaven; hishalf-sister, Mary Nell Glasper of Wesson; 13 grandchildren; andfive great-grandchildren.
