Jean Battaglia
Services for Jean Battaglia of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Monday,Aug. 2, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial inCatholic Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 5-10 p.m. at Harrigill funeralhome.
Mrs. Battaglia, 71, died July 31, 2004, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Monticello on Feb. 12, 1933, toJohn Mizzelle and Lurline Burns.
She was an inspector for Potter Company in Brookhaven. She was ahigh school graduate. She was a member of St. Francis of AssisiCatholic Church and the Ladies of Saint Francis. She celebrated 50years of marriage to her husband on her last weddinganniversary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters, BobbieLeBlanc and Voncile McKee; and her brother, Kenneth E.McClendon.
Survivors are her husband, Nicholas J. Battaglia of Brookhaven;her daughter, Gloria E. Leggett of Bogue Chitto; her son, Johnny P.Battaglia of Ferriday, La.; five grandchildren and sixgreat-grandchildren.
Brandon Vince Wallace
Services for Brandon Vince Wallace of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m.,Sun, Aug. 1, at Arlington Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Wallace, 11, died July 30, 2004, at University MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 8, 1993, toHugh Ronnie Wallace and Kathy Davis Wallace.
He was a student at Bogue Chitto school, having just completedthe fifth grade. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church inBogue Chitto.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Houston and ErmaLee Wallace and Jessie and Ruth Davis.
Survivors are his parents; his step-sister, Allison ShereeWallace of Brookhaven; his brother, Justin Craig Wallace of BogueChitto; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
