Services for Will Ann Smith of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Wednesday,Aug. 4, at Wellman Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Homeand Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Smith, 91, died Aug. 1, 2004, at Beverly Health Care inBrookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on June 13, 1913, toMarshall Douglas and Connie McMillian Douglas.

She was a retired bookkeeper. She had worked for 35 years atWalley Field Drug Store. She was a member of the Pilot Club ofBrookhaven. She was a member, Training Union Director and SundaySchool teacher at Wellman Baptist Church. Christ, her church andher family were the center of her life. She lived in the home thather mother and father had built, and following in their tradition,it was always open to family and friends. For the past ten years,she has lived with Irene Douglas Meredith, her niece andcaregiver.

Preceding her in death were her parents; 2 brothers, JewelDouglas and Noble Douglas; and her grandson, Wade Smith.

Survivors are her son, Cliff Smith and his wife, Charlotte, ofMadison; her granddaughter, Revia Cohen and her husband, Matt, ofNew Haven, Conn.; her grandson, Dr. Phil Smith and his wife, Klara,of Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Hollice Douglas of Brookhaven andBetty Douglas of Baton Rouge, La.; many nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-greatnephews.
