WESSON — The Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets came back to beatthe Wesson Lady Cobras 4-2 in girls slowpitch softball playThursday night.

Amanda Price (5-1) was the winning pitcher with one walk.Credited with the loss was Julie Berry.

Melane Rutland singled twice to pace Enterprise. Jana Brister,Whitney Kyzar and Monica Nations singled.

Wesson got a triple and two singles from Sam Ellison. NikkiMcCardle and Summer Easterling singled.

The Lady Jackets outhit the Lady Cobras 5-3 as both teamscommitted two errors apiece.

In the junior varsity game, Amanda Burke rippeda pair of singles for Enterprise. Amy Lambert hit safely. NicoleSandifer got the win with seven strikeouts and no walks.

Wesson got a single from Casey Greer, Ann Shelby Davis,Stephanie Goodman, Laney McQuaye, Ceara Sturgis, Brooke King andLeah Greer. King took the loss with two strikeouts and fourwalks.

Enterprise (5-1) visits Mt. Olive Monday night for adoubleheader. The JV game begins at 6 p.m. followed by the varsityat 7.

Wesson entertains Brookhaven Tuesday with the JV game beginningat 5 followed by the varsity at 6.
