Services for Casey Clemons of McComb are 1 p.m., Wednesday,Sept. 1, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel in McComb. Gravesideservices will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery inHattiesburg.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from noonuntil 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Clemons, 26, died Aug. 28, 2004, from injuries sustained inan automobile accident on I-55 north of Bogue Chitto. He was bornin Shreveport, La., on April 19, 1978, to William “Bill” andCarolyn Hardee Clemons of McComb.

He was a graduate of McComb High School and SouthwestMississippi Community College, where he played football. Aftergraduating from Southwest he attended the University of SouthernMississippi. He was a Life Boy Scout and an officer of the RegionalState Youth Christian Church. He was an active member of the FirstChristian Church in McComb and was employed as a manager trainee byCracker Barrel in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Frank andSara Clemons of Hattiesburg; and his maternal grandfather, ChesterHardee of Hattiesburg.

Survivors are his parents; his children, Olivia Jo Clemons andAlexa Joyner, both of Hattiesburg; his sister, Cathleen Clemons ofMobile, Ala.; his maternal grandmother, Sally Hardee ofHattiesburg; his aunts and uncles.
