Kacey Rutland drilled a triple and two singles Thursday night tolead the host Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets to a 12-2 division winover the Natchez Cathedral Lady Green Wave in girls slowpitchsoftball play.

Enterprise (6-3, 1-1) got added support at the plate from KaylinBurke, Alisha Mason, Melane Rutland, Lindsey Everett and JanaBrister with two singles apiece. Singling were Whitney Kyzar,Nicole Sandifer and Katie Hux.

The winning pitcher was Amanda Price with two strikeouts and nowalks.

The Lady Jackets outhit the Lady Greenies 17-6. Cathedralcommitted four errors to Enterprise’s one.

Junior varsity

Enterprise clipped Cathedral 4-2. Tripling for the Lady Jacketswas Ashley Greer. Erika Rutland singled twice. Doubling was AmyLabert. Hitting safely were Amanda Burke, Laken Rawls and HaleyBarrett.

Enterprise hosts West Lincoln for division action Thursday. TheJV begins at 6 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7.
