Services for James Dorman “Skeet” Dickerson of Summit are 11a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at Johnston Chapel Methodist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Dickerson, 64, died Sept. 9, 2004, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Summit on April 12, 1940, to Van Dickersonand Eunice Bigner Dickerson.

He was an oilfield worker and a foreman for Odee SmithConstruction.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Audrey Dickerson; his daughters, AngieDrake of Florida, and Debbie Dennis of Indiana; a special stepdaughter, Nora Lynn Fortenberry of Covington, La.; son, GaryDickerson of Summit; two special step sons, James H. Smith Jr. ofBrookhaven, and Billy Joe Alford Jr. of Hazlehurst; his sister,LaVern Brown of Bogue Chitto; nine grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and one great grandchild.
