SUMMIT — Leonna Ballard belted a grand-slam home run and asingle to direct the North Pike Lady Jaguars to a 12-4 division 3Awin over the Port Gibson Wavettes in girls slowpitch softballaction Tuesday night.

The win improves North Pike’s division record to 5-0. The LadyJags are 7-4 on the season.

Casey Dickerson followed Ballard with a double and two singlesfor the Lady Jags. Doubling and singling was Maggie Dunaway.Catherine West singled twice. Hitting safely were Jennifer Coneyand winning pitcher Jenna Dickerson.

Port Gibson got two singles from Tonya Greer. Lilly Portersingled.

North Pike visits Hazlehurst Thursday for a division test. Thevarsity game begins at 4:30 p.m.
