Services for Ferrell Leon Abel of Hazlehurst are 2 p.m. Sunday,Sept. 19, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with burialin Union Church Cemetery in Union Church.

Visitation is Saturday from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m.until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Abel, 88, died Sept. 17, 2004, at Hardy Wilson Hospital inHazlehurst. He was born in Biloxi on Aug. 18, 1916, to Joseph Abeland Ella Ladner.

He was a retired Methodist minister. He was a member ofCommunity Methodist Church in Fayette.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother and 11sisters.

Survivors are his daughter, Brynda Moore of McCall Creek; hissons, Nick Ferrell Abel of Fayette, and Robert Abel of Pascagoula;12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
