Services for K.C. “Snooks” Magee of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Thursday, Oct. 7 at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inFair River Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Magee, 75, died Oct. 5, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Sept. 3, 1929, to Sam Magee and FrancesAdams.

He was a self employed carpenter. He is best known for hisguitar picking of bluegrass and gospel music, and his willingnessto help others. He was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Zula B.Magee, his brothers, Louis “Mutt” Magee, A.J. Magee, Enoch Mageeand Jess Magee; his sisters, Audrey Magee, Emma Russell and LottiBarton.

Survivors are his sister-in-law, Shirley Magee of LincolnCounty; and a host of nieces and nephews.
