Services for Callie W. Panzica of Gulfport, formerly of McComb,are 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Catchings Funeral Home in McCombwith burial in Hollywood Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 9-10 a.m. atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Panzica, 71, died Oct. 4, 2004, at Brookwood Hospital inHomewood, Ala. She was born in Madison Parish, La., on Oct. 28,1932, to John Richmond Welch and Callie Lee Davis Welch.

She was a retired bookkeeper and medical assistant having workedin McComb, Gulfport and Biloxi. She was a member of the baptistfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Frederick Strobel Cawley; and one sister, George Ann Lambert.

Survivors are her husband, Joe Edward Panzica of Gulfport; hertwo sons, David S. Cawley of Gulfport, and Robert D. Cawley ofGonzales, La.; her brother, J.R. Welch of McComb; her sister, BettyGifford of McComb; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren;and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
