Mary Nell Beall

Services for Mary Nell Beall of Madison, formerly of Hazlehurst,are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Stringer Family Funeral ServicesChapel with burial in Hazlehurst Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m.at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beall, 92, died Oct. 14, 2004, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. She was born in Hazlehurst on Feb. 18, 1912, toLee and Willie Jane Izard.

She was a lifelong resident of Hazlehurst until moving to TheHome Place in Madison in 1996. She worked for a number of years atS. Kemp Company, Rexall Drugs and finished her working years atHazlehurst Clinic.

Mrs. Beall loved the Lord and was a faithful member of FirstBaptist Church in Hazlehurst, where she taught Sunday School andwas active in the Actioneers. She loved to crochet and was verygenerous with the many beautiful things she made.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, OttoBeall; and her two brothers, Cliburn Izard and Carl Izard.

Survivors are her son, Lynn Beall and his wife, Betty; her twodaughters, Willie Del and her husband, John, and Glenda Sutherlandand her husband, Kimble; her grandchildren, Deborah and SteveBrady, David and Leigh Ann Richardson, Jeff and VeronicaRichardson, Clay and Sabrina Sutherland, Shea Sutherland, Ashleyand Kevin Bonds, Michael Beall and Betty Joe and Jerry Hall; 13great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Hazlehurst orThe Home Place, 500 0ld Canton Rd., Madison, MS.

Robert Lee Dorsey

Services for Robert Lee Dorsey of Edgewood, Md., formerly ofBogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at New Zion Union M.B.Church with burial in New Zion-Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 7 p.m. with family hour from6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Dorsey, 54, died Oct. 8, 2004, at Upper Chesapeake Hospitalin Bel Aire, Md. He was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 2, 1950, toRobert J. Dorsey and Mynell Blackwell Holmes of Bogue Chitto.

He was a 1968 graduate of Eva Harris High School and retiredfrom the Army-National Guard after 22 years of service.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his daughter, Heidi Dorsey ofEdgewood; his sons, Joseph Dorsey and Joshua Dorsey, both ofEdgewood; his sisters, Deborah Turner, Lorraine Lewis and SallyGodbolt, all of Bogue Chitto; his brother, Alton Nelson Jr. ofBogue Chitto; three grandchildren; one goddaughter; and manynieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Beverly Ruth Gauthier

Memorial services for Beverly Ruth Gauthier, 44, of Mansura,La., are 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Brookway Church of Christ.Escude’ Funeral Home in Mansura, was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Gauthier, 44, died Oct. 11, 2004, at Scottsdale MemorialHospital in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Survivors are her daughters, Sarah Russell and Megan Russell,both of Brookhaven, and Natalie Gaithier of Mansura; and her sons,Justin Russell and Benjamin Russell, both of Brookhaven.

Willie Miller Roberts

Services for Willie Miller Roberts of Wesson are 2 p.m.Saturday, Oct. 16, at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial inSylvarena Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Roberts, 91, died Oct. 14, 2004, at the G.V. “Sonny”Montgomery Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He was born in LincolnCounty on Sept. 13, 1913, to Perry R. Roberts and Winnie MillerRoberts.

He was a self-employed cattleman, farmer. He was a member of theAmerican Legion and an Army veteran of World War II. He was amember of Sylvarena Baptist Church, where he served as adeacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Carl WillieRoberts Sr.; his brother, Woodrow W. Roberts; two sisters, Ruby B.Smith and Ruth E. Roberts; and a grandson, Kevin Roberts.

Survivors are his wife, Lillian Shacklee Roberts of Wesson; hisdaughters, Sheryl R. Montgomery and Karen R. Roberts, both ofWesson; his sisters, Amy L. Hester of Wesson, and Dorothy J.Jackson, of Jackson; his brothers, Floyd Roberts of Bossier City,La., and Clarence Roberts of Alexandria, La.; his grandchildren,Carl Willie Roberts Jr., and his wife, Freda, Courtney Hall, DeemieMontgomery Letchworth and her husband, Brian, and Ronda MontgomeryClark and her husband, Pat; and nine great grandchildren.
