Services for Sadie Whitt of Wesson are 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 atUnity Baptist Church in Jefferson County with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 8-11a.m. with a prayer servicebeginning at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home. Visitation willresume at 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Whitt, 89, died Oct. 14, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Jefferson County on Dec. 18, 1914, to Clarence “Bud” Nealand Inez Trevillon Neal.

She was a retired registered nurse and a former member of theAmerican Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of Sylvarena BaptistChurch and had lived in Wesson since 1950.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, A.D.Whitt.

Survivors are her close friends, Larry Beeson and his wife,Wendy, of Brookhaven, and Frances Britt and her husband, Bobby, ofWesson; other survivors include Jewel Morrison of Camden Ark., MaryAlice Nolon and Francis Beamiss, both of Lorman, Blanche McGillisand Georgia Owens, both of Memphis, Tenn., Dale Trevillon ofSmackover, Ark., Georgia Marie Cox of Edwards and Mary Rabe ofNashville, Tenn.
