Services for Sarah Alice Edwards Brashier of Natchez wereTuesday, Oct. 26 at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez with burial inGreenlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Brashier, 71, died Oct. 23, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Hazlehurst on Feb. 27, 1933, to Willie E. and Annie P.Ashley Edwards.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and threesisters.

Survivors are her husband, William E. “Billy” Brashier ofNatchez; her two daughters, Nan Flose of West Monroe, La., and AnnMelton Ferriday, La.; her two sons, Gene Brashier of Natchez, andPaul Brashier of Centerville; five sisters, Collen Graves, LynnStewart, Margie Britt, Edna Burke and Joy Fleming; hermother-in-law, Gurcia Brashier; Several grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren.

Services for Lloyd Lofton of Smithdale are 10 a.m. Saturday,Nov. 6 at Ramah Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5:30-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Lofton died Nov. 4, 2004, at Southwest Regional MedicalCenter.
