Services for Charlie “Gallshot” Putman of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Williams Mortuary with burial in Old EbenezerCemetery.

Visitation is Monday from noon until 7 p.m., with family hourfrom 6-7 at the funeral home.

Mr. Putman, 69, died Nov. 1, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Brookhaven on Aug. 30, 1935, to Steve Putman and Wessie LeniorPutman.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his sister, Cora Ferdinand of Chicago, Ill; andmany other relatives and friends.
