Graveside services for Mary Martha Logan Smith of Jackson are 2p.m. today, Nov. 24, at Moak’s Creek Cemetery in Lincoln County.The Rev. John Thomas will officiate. Catchings Funeral Home inMcComb is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 93, died Nov. 22, 2004, at Jaquith Nursing HomeFacility in Pearl. She was born in Jefferson County, Ill., on Oct.2, 1911, to Clarence Chester Logan and Minnie Catherine Logan.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ClarenceWesley Smith; one daughter, Barbara Catherine Jackson; one brother,Bud Logan; and two sisters, Catherine Logan and Mildred Logan.

Survivors are her two sons, Donald Smith and his wife, Nancy, ofPocahontas, and Mark Smith and his wife, Janice Doreen, of BogueChitto; one brother, Isaac Earl Logan of Illinois; one son-in-law,Ray Arnold Jackson of Baton Rouge, La.; one sister-in-law, RoseMarie Thomas of Ocean View, Del.; four grandchildren, Wesley J.Smith of Brookhaven, Holly Marie Smith of Jackson, Robert WayneSmith of Brandon and Donna Sue Sandifer of Florence; and fivegreat-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Edwin Sandifer, Jay Sandifer, Robert Smith,Jack Rawls, Joe Brumfield and Ed Brumfield.
