Student wins $100 in Hometown Bucks

Reeves Fernald of Brookhaven is the most recent winner in TheDAILY LEADER’s Hometown Christmas promotion.
A student studying landscape management at Hinds CommunityCollege in Raymond, Fernald, 22, said he was excited to be thefourth winner of $100 in Hometown Bucks.
Asked where he was going to spend his newfound money, Fernaldsaid he didn’t know, but “probably at Wizard.”
Fernald registered for the contest while shopping at WizardElectronics on Brookway Boulevard, where he had purchased a new CDplayer earlier in the week. Fernald is the son of Mr. and Mrs. JoeFernald of Brookhaven.
Weekly $100 winners will be selected each Friday, until Dec. 12,when the grand prize winner of $500 in Hometown Bucks will bedrawn.
Entrants can register at any of the following participatingbusinesses: Betty Ann’s; Brookhaven Sports; Engraveables;Expectations; Rushing Boots; Sister’s By Design; Smith Bros.Collision Center and Truck Accessories; T.H. Perkins Furniture Co.;and Wizard Electronics.
Shoppers may also register at Bank of Brookhaven, State Bank andTrustmark National Bank.
Shoppers may enter as many times as they like.
DAILY LEADER employees and their families are not eligible towin. Employees of participating merchants may not register at theirrespective businesses but may register at any of the otherparticipating merchants.
