Services for Thomas F. Thompson of Wesson are 2 p.m. Sunday,Dec. 5, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation is Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Thompson, 69, died Dec. 1, 2004, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Copiah Countyon July 13, 1935, to Frank Thompson and Viola Lack Thompson.

He received an associate’s degree from Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege, where he was also retired as a heavy equipment instructorafter 12 years. He served for 22 years in the Air Force and was alifetime member of the American Legion. He was a member of DamascusBaptist Church in Hazlehurst.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one sister, LillianBaldwin.

Survivors are his wife, Dena Thompson of Wesson; his daughterand son-in-law, Vicki and Glynn Greer of Brookhaven; his sons anddaughter-in-law, Aaron and Shelley Thompson of Willow Wood, Ohio,Bryon Thompson of Wesson, and Steven Thompson of Starkville; hissisters, Carolyn Connelly of Walterboro, S.C., Martha Wiggins ofLearned, and Janice Curtis of Utica; his brother, Kenneth Thompsonof Puckett; a special niece, Patricia Allen of Raleigh; sevengrandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.
