Billie Blakeney Lofthouse

Services for Billie Blakeney Lofthouse of Sycamore, Ill., are10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at Robinson Road Baptist Church inPeoria, Miss., followed by a graveside service.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home inMcComb and Friday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Lofthouse, 68, died Dec. 11, 2004, in Sycamore, Ill. Shewas born in Newellton, La., on Oct. 9, 1936, to Bill L. McCord andMinnie McCord of Diamondhead, Miss.

She spent the majority of her life in Jackson raising her threedaughters. She was a 1982 graduate of Hinds Community College andwent on to be a registered nurse at the University of MississippiMedical Center Children’s Hospital in Jackson. She was a devotedmember of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Sycamore.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Joseph Lofthouse ofSycamore; her daughters, Karen Herring and her husband, Gene, ofFlorence, Cheryl “Gogie” Ashley of Brookhaven and Belinda Fischerand her husband, Craig, of Naples, Fla.; her stepchildren, BillLofthouse and his wife, Cindy, of DeKalb, Ill., and Kathy Madden ofHanover Park, Ill.; her sister, Katherine Magee and her husband,Butch, of Diamondhead; her grandchildren, Aaron Herring ofFlorence, Brooke Ashley of Brookhaven, Dustin and Gracie Fischer ofNaples; and several step grandchildren.

Byron Terrell Robinson

Services for Byron Terrell Robinson of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Friday, Dec. 17 at Damascus M.B. Church with burial in HillcrestCemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Robinson, 24, died Dec. 13, 2004, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in McComb onOct. 22, 1980, to Robert Earl Robinson Jr. of Bogue Chitto, andFrancine Martin of Brookhaven.

He was a specialist and active member of the National Guard. Hewas a 2000 graduate of Brookhaven High School and attended JacksonState University. Mr. Robinson served as a Beau in the 2000 AlphaPhi Alpha Fraternity 10th Year Beautillion and was a member ofDamascus M.B. Church.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Victoria Rebecca Robinsonof Brookhaven; his stepfather, McKinley Martin of Brookhaven; hissons, Byrion Robinson and Darius Robinson, both of Brookhaven; hissisters Kizsonya Smith of Washington, D.C., Jamela Martin ofBrookhaven, and Alexis Faye Robinson of Jackson; his brothers,Roderick Robinson of Jackson, and Benjamin Robinson of BogueChitto; his grandparents, Clara and Robert Robinson Sr. ofBrookhaven; his great-grandfather, L.C. Robinson of Brookhaven; andmany uncles, aunts and other relatives.

Gladys O’Regan Summers

Services for Gladys O’Regan Summers of McComb are 2 p.m.Thursday, Dec. 16 at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb with burialin Kees Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 1-2 p.m. atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Summers, 95, died Dec. 14, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in London, England, on March 15, 1909, to William EdwardO’Regan and Eleanor Frederica Elizabeth King.

She was a retired secretary with 35 years service for CroftMetals, where she served as Mr. Bancroft’s personal secretary. Shewas a member of First Baptist Church of McComb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, BedfordForrest Summers; and three brothers, Philip O’Regan, Leslie O’Reganand Patrick O’Regan.

Survivors are her son, Stephen Forrest “B.F.” Summers Sr. ofMcComb; and three grandsons.
