Herman ‘Buddy’ Jordan

Services for Herman “Buddy” Jordan of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Friday, Dec. 17 at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burial inMt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from noon until 2p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jordan, 60, died Dec. 15, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in New Orleans, La., on Sept. 28, 1944, to TroyJordan and Eloise Hewitt Jordan.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers.

Survivors are his daughters, Rebecca Jordan Schrader ofBrookhaven, Rachael Jordan Williams of Flowood and Regina Jordan ofMcComb; his son, Matthew Paul Jordan of Brookhaven; and his sister,Sylvia Huhn of Brookhaven.

Nelson B. Lenson

Services for Nelson B. Lenson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Saturday, Dec. 18 at Williams Mortuary with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery.

Mr. Lenson, 74, died Dec. 12, 2004, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born in Crystal Springs on Dec. 3, 1930,to John Lenson and Fannie Lenson.

He was a veteran of the Army and retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, KatherineLenson.

Survivors are his daughters, Cynthia Lenson of Milwaukee, Wisc.,and Vanessa Jackson of Westville, N.Y.; his sisters, Janie MaeDavis of Saginaw, Mich., and Francis Lenson Gary and her husband,Percy, of Hayti, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren.

Nola Ivy Rutledge

Services for Nola Ivy Rutledge of Baton Rouge, La., formerly ofBrookhaven, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at Brookhaven FuneralHome Chapel with burial in Holly Springs Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rutledge, 80, died Dec. 14, 2004, at Baptist MemorialHospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born on Dec. 17, 1923, toPrentiss Ivy and Ruth White Ivy.

She was a homemaker and member of University Baptist Church inBaton Rouge.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Marvin Rutledge of Baton Rouge; herdaughter, Marlene Rutledge Shaw of Memphis; her son, Jim Rutledgeof Baton Rouge; her sisters, Sarah Beeson of Brookhaven, andKathleen Keyes of Brandon; her brothers, Wayne Ivy of Hazlehurst,and Robert Lee Ivy of Brookhaven; five grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.

Fred Lee ‘Jack’ Robinson

Services for Fred Lee “Jack” Robinson of Liberty are 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 18 at Parson Hill M.B. Church in Liberty with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Robinson, 68, died Dec. 8, 2004, at Field Memorial Hospitalin Centerville. He was born in Amite County on Aug. 28, 1936, toFred Robinson and Mozell Swington Robinson.

He was disabled. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; four sisters, Pearl L.Weathersby, Ada L. Griffin, Ilean Jackson and Bernell Tatumn; andthree brothers, Elmo Robinson, Louis Robinson and HollisRobinson.

Survivors are his devoted wife, Yvonne Robinson of Liberty; hisdaughters, Mary Yearwood and her husband, Keith, of Chicago, Ill.,and Jamila Robinson of Hattiesburg; his sons, Ernest T. Robinson ofPhiladelphia, Pa., and Lemond Anderson of Milwaukee, Wisc.; hissister, Crissie L. Anderson of Liberty; his brothers, MoyesePerkins of Liberty and Collis L. Robinson of Liberty; fourgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
