Belva Lewis Rickert Britt

Services for Belva Lewis Rickert Britt of Wesson are 10 a.m.,Monday, Dec. 20, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day SaintsRed Star Ward with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Homeand Monday from 9-10 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Britt, 86, died Dec. 13, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Foxworth on March 10, 1918, to JessieFranklin Lewis and Nannie Stephens.

She was a native of Foxworth and a longtime resident of NewOrleans. She had been a resident of Brookhaven for the past 18years. She worked in the food and beverage industry and was amember of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Peter Joseph Rickert Jr.; four sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors are her husband, Clyde Emmitt Britt of Wesson; herdaughter Jan Ciese of Denver, Colo.; her son, Donald M. Rickert ofSlidell, La.; her daughter-in-law, Kathie Breeland Rickert ofSlidell; her sister, Flora L. Dodson of Salt Lake City, Utah; herbrother, Bill Lewis of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; and fivegreat-grandchildren.

Nelson B. Lenson

Services for Nelson B. Lenson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Saturday, Dec. 18 at Williams Mortuary with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Lenson, 74, died Dec. 12, 2004, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born in Crystal Springs on Dec. 3, 1930,to John Lenson and Fannie Lenson.

He was a veteran of the Army and retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, KatherineLenson.

Survivors are his daughters, Cynthia Lenson of Milwaukee, Wisc.,and Vanessa Jackson of Westville, N.Y.; his sisters, Janie MaeDavis of Saginaw, Mich., and Francis Lenson Gary and her husband,Percy, of Hayti, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren.

David Lee Price

Services for David Lee Price of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Dec. 18, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with burial inTwin Oaks Cemetery in Lincoln County.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andSaturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Price, 88, died Dec. 15, 2004, at St. Dominic/JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 12, 1916,to Clarence Work Price and Zonettie Cumyria Hughes Price.

He was retired from Stahl Urban after 39 years of employment. Heserved in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Price wasa member of the VFW and was a charter member of the Bogue ChittoVolunteer Fire Department.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three brothers,Billy Price, Odell Price and Lee Otto Price.

Survivors are his wife, Alberta Price of Bogue Chitto; his sons,David Lee Price Jr. and his wife, Melvia, of White Oak, N.C., andMonroe Price and his wife, Tonya, of Terry; his sister, EvelynWarrick of Bogue Chitto; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Price,Austin Guy Price and Alana Ray Price.

Pallbearers will be the deacons of Bogue Chitto BaptistChurch.

Services for Irene Richardson of Bogue Chitto are 1 p.m.,Sunday, Dec. 19, at Cornerstone Church of God In Christ with burialin Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary, with a wake from 7-8 p.m. at Collins Church of God inChrist.

Mrs. Richardson, 75, died Dec. 14, 2004, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on July 10, 1929, toHammond Redd Sr. and Bessie Redd.

She was retired and a member of the Collins Church of God inChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, HermanRedd Jr., Emale Redd Sr. and Robert Redd; her sisters, VestieAustin and Ossie Mae Redd; her aunts, Irene Pickens and Ozzie MaeHayes; her uncles, Randolph Redd and Henry Bolin; and a son-in-law,Lloyd Vernon Smith.

Survivors are her husband, Mack Charles Richardson Sr. ofIndependence, La.; her four daughters, Peggy R. Smith, Mary L.Addison, and her husband, Julius, Alma Richardson, and GloriaPorter and her husband, Willie Alfred, all of Bogue Chitto; herfour sons, Mack Charles Richardson Jr. and his wife, Katherine, ofBrookhaven, Ronald Richardson and his wife, Elaine, of New Orleans,La., Donald Richardson and his wife, Shirley, of Bogue Chitto, andJames Edward Richardson and his wife, Darlene, of Lansing; hersister, Annie Mae Dangerfield of Hammond, La.; 20 grandchildren; 15great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
