Robert Edward (Bob) Upton

Services for Robert Edward (Bob) Upton of Union Church are 1p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Union Hall Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 4-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Upton, 64, died Dec. 22, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on April 22,1940, to Rob and Cornellia Upton.

He was a self-employed pipe fitter. He was a member of theBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, two childrenand a niece.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Upton of Union Church; his sonsand daughters-in-law, Jerry and Betty Joe Hall, and Richard andArlene Hall, both of Laplace, La., and Johnny and Janet Hall ofReserave, La.; his daughters and sons-in-law, Kay Hall ofHazlehurst, Vicky and Freddie Busby of Ruth, and Diane and RayBunton of Roberts, La.; his sister, Thelma Rollins of Brookhaven;24 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews andgreat-grandchildren.

James W. Victory

Services for James W. Victory of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Sunday,Dec. 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in ColdSprings Church of Christ Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Victory, 57, died Dec. 24, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Florence, Ala., on Sept. 15, 1947, to JamesW. Victory Sr., and Agnes McCaig Victory.

He was a truck driver. He was a member of Pentecostal Apostolicsof Brookhaven. He was an Army veteran, with service in the VietnamConflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Merdle Victory; his brother, DannyVictory of Brookhaven; and his sisters, Sonya Cannon and BettyVictory, both of Brookhaven.
