Services for Climon A. Wallace of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. Friday,Dec. 31 at Bethel Methodist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Wallace, 83, died Dec. 29, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on March 30, 1921, to George Wallace andJanie Lee Wallace.

He was owner of Wallace Grocery on Highway 84 West. He served inthe Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member ofBethel Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his two sisters, AnnaCupit and Nettie Roberts; and his eight brothers, Clinton,Cleveland, Brown, Charles, Billie Gene, George, Glynn, and J.J.

Survivors are his wife, Annie Rae Wallace of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Shirley Crosby of Brookhaven, Nell Jones and herhusband, Willie, of Bolton, Polly Phillips and her husband, Jimmy,of Crystal Springs, and Alice Hall and her husband, Quincy, ofBrookhaven; his sons, Climon E. Wallace and his wife, Deborah, ofBrookhaven, and Raymond Wallace of Brookhaven; 17 grandchildren;and 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Methodist Church in memory ofClimon A. Wallace.
