Services for Jessie L. Hall Whitmore of Sontag are 2 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 13 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Monticello Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Whitmore, 80, died Jan. 10, 2005, at Natchez RegionalMedical Center. She was born in Lawrence County on Sept. 29, 1924,to Joe B. Hall and Ellen Whitehead Hall.

She was a waitress.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, CarlAmber Wyland and W.V. Whitmore; and three sisters, JosieLetchworth, Johnny Mae Smith and Ruby Oult.

Survivors are her son, Mack Wyland of Monticello; her brotherJames M. Hall of Natchez; four grandchildren; 10great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
