Services for Angelia Lynn “Angie” McDaniel of Summit are 11 a.m.Friday, Jan. 14 at Hartman Funeral Home in McComb with burial inFellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit. Bro. Tom Burris willofficiate.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and from 9-11 a.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. McDaniel, 39, died Jan. 11, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Pike County on March 15, 1965, to Leroy and Juanita “Omega”Dunaway.

She was a devoted mother to her children, who were the loves ofher life. Her favorite expression of that love was to sing “AmazingGrace” to them before bedtime. Her family said that she was adevoted friend and a wonderful daughter-in-law and was very activein her church. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, whereshe was a member of the Young Adult Sunday School Class.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Malcolm and WilmaLee May and Roney and Wilma Lee Dunaway; and two nephews, JohnCurtis and Zachary Dunaway.

Survivors are her parents; her husband, David E. McDaniel ofSummit; her daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth McDaniel of Summit; hersons, David Cody McDaniel of Summit; her sisters, Susie Rippy andher husband, Jamie, of Bogue Chitto, and Cindy Deer and herhusband, Yogi, of Summit; and her brothers, Curtis Dunaway and hiswife, Pam, of Bogue Chitto, and Ricky Dunaway and his wife, Angie,of Liberty.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rippy, Dusty Rippy, Ricky McDaniel,Jimmy McDaniel, Dale Wallace and Chris Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, Michael McDaniel,Ricky McDaniel Jr., Walt McDaniel, Derrick McDaniel, Devon Butrick,Tanner McDaniel and Chase Butrick.
