Services for Mary Louise Cooper of New Orleans, formerly ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at St. Mark M.B. Churchwith burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.
Mrs. Cooper, 90, died Jan. 9, 2005, in New Orleans. She was bornin Brookhaven on May 11, 1914, to Rose Hughes.
She was disabled and a member of the Greater Mt. Rose BaptistChurch in New Orleans, where she served on the Usher Board. She hadattended the Gullage School in Brookhaven.
Preceding her in death were her mother; her two husbands, JoeWilliams and Melvin Cooper; and a son J. Hugh Williams.
Survivors are her daughters, Olivia L. Blue of Dallas, Texas,Emma Bryant of Brookhaven, and Clara White and Esther Fidis, bothof Chicago, Ill.; her sons, Daniel Williams and his wife, DonnaMarie, and Jessie Williams, both of Chicago; 22 grandchildren;many, many great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives andfriends.
